On
Sunday the 5th of March 2006, the Haydn Miller arrived at
Porthdinllaen on a courtesy visit, she is Tenby’s new lifeboat, and
the exciting news is that the second of this new class will be stationed
at Porthdinllaen.
The
16m Tamar class lifeboat is the latest addition to the RNLI’s
all-weather fleet. With a top speed of 25 knots, it can lie afloat or be
launched from a slipway.
