"Kathleen Mary"

1984

In 1984 I was invited by Ken Fitzpatrick, the then Second Coxswain and mechanic of "Kathleen Mary" to come along and take some photographs, during one of their frequent exercises. One of the rescue helicopters from R.A.F. Valley was to make an appearance, but was called out on an emergency, and never turned up.

Ken Fitzpatrick is now the Harbour Master at Pwllheli.
