Her creative career started as a graphic designer. After graduating with a BA Hons in Graphics and working for fifteen years in a variety of roles up to design manager she decided to break away from graphics and explore the creative design possibilities of glass as a medium. She gained a diploma in Traditional Stained Glass and studied glass fusing.

Her glass design falls into two categories - fused glass for interiors and architectural stained glass.

All of her work is individually designed and hand crafted using a variety of kiln-forming processes for fused pieces and traditional leading techniques for stained glass. The individuality of each design, the very nature of glass itself and the kiln processes used, ensure that each piece is unique.

Her fused glass involves cutting, layering, fusing and slumping glass to produce a range of interior accessories. A key element of her work is that it is functional, not just decorative, and so it is ideal for the home and workplace. Her fused glass includes a range of tableware and accessories, serving plates, gifts, sculptures and glass art.

Her stained glass panels are made using traditional leaded light techniques and materials as well as fused glass to add detail. Like her fused interior glass, the stained glass is functional as well as decorative. Her work harnesses the translucent colour in glass with the flowing qualities of the fused pieces to create very unique designs that enhance the environment whether at home or in the workplace. Her stained glass includes panels, screens and architectural stained glass.
