Llyn Ships IV

(1) Schooner at Abersoch,

(2) Pwllheli Harbour.

(3) Capt Harry Parry from Aberdaron's schooner "Messenger" at Abersoch, he used to fill her up with sand and stay there over the winter, and come summer he would trade single handed around the Llyn, and as far as the Mersey. His only companion was his corgi "Prince". He was the great grandfather of Mr Edgar Morris, Ael y Bryn, Rhiw.

(4,5,6,7,8,9,11,13,14,16) A beautiful selection of photographs taken of Porthdinllaen in 1886 ~ 1893.

(10) The Liverpool schooner "Garibaldi" under going repairs at Porthysgaden after being damaged in 1886.

(12, 15) Two schooners at Porthysgaden also in 1886.
