Robert Williams of Pen y Maes Pwllheli and Robert Hughes also of Pwllheli, the
vessel is then employed in fishing in Cardigan Bay. In 1876 Charles Smith from
Denmark also becomes an owner of the ‘Ebenezer’ and she is according to the
records used for trawling in Cardigan Bay and for carrying materials between
Pwllheli and St Tudwals for the new lighthouse there. After selling the ‘Ebenezer’ Ebenezer Richards continued to work at sea but never again owned his own ship, amongst the ships he worked on were the ‘Catherine’ and the ‘Pheasant’, which were similar vessels to his own and were employed in the coastal trade around Llyn. The Ebenezer was broken up at Pwllheli in 1879.
