Sunday 7 – Conwy Pritchard didn’t turn up. School meeting at Tyddyn.

Monday 8 – Shift. EW misses. Cold wind from the north.

Wednesday 10 – Shift. Erw misses to spread muck. Robert Penarfynydd begins to plough the ‘dryll.’

Thursday 11 – Shift. They bury Richard the son of Efail Rhos who came home with diptheria.

Monday 2 – Heavy snow today. Eliza went to Parc, the yearling ewe had had a lamb as well as two other sheep. We put the sheep in the hovel this evening. Shift RE and WO.

Saturday 2 – Shift. Got a plank in Porth Llawenan 20 foot long by 4 thick and a foot wide.

Sunday 3 – Hugh Jones Cricieth at 6, couldn’t come because of the rain at 2.

Monday 4 – Shift. EW misses the cow is calving. William Llainfatw starts in the afternoon. Got the plank from ‘Porth Wyn’ below the mountain 32 foot long.

Tuesday 5 – Shift.

Wednesday 6 – Shift. Panty gwair heifer has a calf. Wet weather.

Thursday 7 – Gathered sand eels, rain and thunder. Caught a salmon in the net. Pay £2-14/4d.

Friday 8 – Mist and rain.

Saturday 9 – Washed the boat.

Sunday 10 – Davies Abersoch at Horeb.

Thursday 2 – Loading the SS Florence 51 rounds came to a halt at half past ten until two, a line had broken on the jetty, stopped at seven thirty.

Friday 3 – Shift started at 4 in the morning repairing the jetty. Started loading at two until half past three. Loading the traction at 5.

Saturday 4 – Dick, Lewis. Griffith Pwllmelyn, Dafydd Penmynydd and I go fishing.

Sunday 5 – John Roberts Penrhyn at 2. Prayer meeting at 6.
