Monday 29 – Loading coal in the morning then went to carry wood with John Nant for the shaft at Tyn Fron until two. The ship came at six. Loading the Agnes Ellen.

Tuesday 30 – Finished loading the Agnes Ellen by ten 53 rounds. EW misses. Shift at midnight.

Monday 24 – Shift 6 ‘til 2. Carried clover six loads from the field near the chapel.

Tuesday 25 – Shift .Fishing with RE and Nedw caught 32.

Thursday 27 – Shift. Two loads from cae big. The lads go to raise a shft. Hot week.

Saturday 5 – Shift. The bees swarm. Morgans Tyn Llyn is buried. Hot day. Isaac goes to town.

Sunday 6– Jones Rhiw. Went to Tan y Ffordd to get ? for the bees.

Monday 7 - Put the bees on frames in the third hive.

Sunday 3 – Wet and windy, nobody’s been to chapel.

Monday 4 – Day shift. Started to churn the honey.

Tuesday 5 – Shift. Churning the honey at Meillionydd.

Wednesday 6 – Half in the morning. Loading the SS Agnes Ellen in the afternoon 60 rounds.

Thursday 7 – Shift. EW misses. Went to Porth Cadlan to get the boat.

Friday 8 – Shift.

Monday 11 – Loaded the Florence 63 rounds. Went to fetch the Captain from Pwllheli (Henry Parry, Eliza’s father).

Thursday 5 – Shift at Nant. Paid for the Gwyliedydd.

Friday 6 – Shift. Went to buy shoes for myself Isaac and two pairs for Bob and a pair of best Sunday shoes for Eliza.

Saturday 7 – Shift.
