Dear Friend,

               I take the pleasure of writing to you hoping that you like me are in good health. I don’t have much news this time except that I arrived on Sunday morning, it’s quite interesting here,  mail goes home quickly, tell Richard oil that I’m asking after him. How’s Miss Jones Refail now ? How’s Tom Owen, still telling tall tales. Well I must end now. I’m not allowed to tell you much. Don’t forget to send a letter back.
