Caer Gwineu

At bron i wyth gan troedfedd uwchben y mor ac efo wal syth o gerrig naturiol 20 medr  o uchder i'r gogledd mae Caer Creigiau Gwineu yn un or llefydd mwyaf trawiadol yn Llyn gyfan, mae yn mesur 150 wrth 60 medr ar ei fan fwyaf, ac mae llawer o'r waliau i'w gweld yn blaen yn enwedig yn y gaeaf pan mae'r rhedyn wedi marw. Cafodd ei adeiladu yn yr oes Efydd, er mwyn ir bobl gael  mochel oddiwrth eu gelynion. Mae olion tri o gytia crynion i'w gweld o fewn y gaer.

Gwineu Fort

At nearly eight hundred feet above sea level, and with a 20 meters sheer wall of rocks on its northern side this fort is one of the most spectacular places in Llyn, It measures 150 by 60 meters at its greatest point, and a lot of the walls are still clearly visible especially in the winter when the bracken has died away. It was built in the Bronze age for people to shelter from their enemies. Three circular stone huts can still be seen at the western end of the fort.
