Daethom i’r canlyniad mai eu gosod allan yn union fel ag yr oeddan fyddai oreu.Mae nhw yn llawn o wybodaeth am Rhiw a Llanfaelrhys, yn cynnwys enwau tai nag ydynt bellach yn bod, ac weithiau mae tai neu fythynod bach arnynt a dim enw iddynt, dim ond enw’r sawl  oedd yn gorfod talu’r degwm.Telid y degwm ar werth eiddo a chynyrch y tir yn anifeiliaid ac yn gnydau ac ai arian y degwm i’r Eglwys leol ac i Gomisiynwyr y degwm. Roedd y degwm yn achosi llawer o dlodi i rai yn ei gyfnod a llawer o ddicter ymhlith yr ymneulltiwyr yn enwedig.

For some time now we have been pondering on how best to place the tithes on the website, We decided it would be better to put them as they were and let you browse through them. They are very interesting and full of historical information about Rhiw and Llanfaelrhys parishes, they contain names of houses that no longer exist, some cottages even have no name only the name of the person responsible for paying the tithes. Tithes were a tax payable to the parish church and the Tithe Comissioners on property and the produce of the land both animals and crops. The tithes caused a lot of hardship in their time and were not popular especially with the nonconformists.
