Lleyn
Arms, Lleyn is the Southern division of Carnarvonshire. It comprises of
the strip of land lying between the Eifl mountains (The Rivals) and
Bardsey. Lleyn is famous for its cattle. This is represented in the Shield
by the three calves heads. The most important grain products of Lleyn are
Oats and Barley, which are represented in the lower part of the Shield by
Sheaves of Corn. In the upper part of the Shield is to be seen the Sea, a
Coasting Vessel, a portion of the Lleyn Peninsula, and some of the islands
round its coast.
