Wel sut mae’r hwyl erbyn hyn?. Dwi wedi
bod yma yn Scranton North Dakota ers tair wythnos bellach ac mae
hi yn dechra oeri barrug a gwynt oer yn y boreau ac hefyd rhai
diwrnodau glawog (be sydd newydd). Mae’r cynhaeaf yma ychydig yn
hwyr eleni gan fod y tywydd yn oerach felly rhaid disgwyl ychydig
ddyddiau cyn torri!! Rhaid dweud dwi yn dod ar draws cymeriadau
ofnadwy o liwgar ar fy nhaith dwi newydd fod yn torri hadau
Mwstard, hadau man melyn ac os y rhowch rhyw binsiad neu ddau yn
eich ceg a'u cnoi yna cewch flas mwstard ofnadwy o gryf (fel y
ffeindis i allan!!!!!). Reit well mi gael swpar rwan ac hefyd un
cwrw oer!! i foddi y diwrnod!

Hello
How are things back home, I’ve been
in Scranton North Dakota for the past three weeks. The weather’s
getting colder and we get a cold wind and frosts in the mornings
and some rainy days (sounds familiar?). The harvest is a little
later this year because the weather is colder we’re having to wait
a few days before we start cutting. Along the way I’ve met quite a
few colourful characters (but that’s another story) I’ve just been
harvesting mustard seeds, they’re small and yellow and if you chew
a few of them you a really strong mustardy taste (as I found out).
Right then I’m off for supper and a cold beer to cool me down!!!
